First of all you should understand that food is not the only reason for heart disease.. a life style without exercise can also cause problems so also obesity and genetic predisposition or all of the above put together.
So yes vegetarians do get heart disease.

Yes!! There are so many forms of heart disease. I work with a cardiovascular surgeon and just this week, a man came in who got a heart disease from not drinking enough water! (basically it dehydrated his liver, so some of the bacteria from his urine leaked into his bloodstream which got to his heart and destroyed his mitral valve.

Basically, although clots are less common in vegetarians than in Steak-house-junky 400lb-elephant-man, everyone is still at risk.

If you've got a concern, and symptoms for heart disease, get it checked out! But if you want to do a little research before going to the physician, go to: http://symptoms.webmd.com/symptomchecker and it will lead you through a series of questions that might help you narrow down your search.
