Myocardial Infarction (heart attack)= death of heart tissue. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fever, nausea and vomiting. You can die from this.
Heart failure=the heart can't pump enough blood too meet the oxygen needs of the body's tissues. Symptoms are weight gain, heart murmurs, dizziness, tiredness, cough, shortness of breath. It can cause asthma, pneumonia, abnormal heart sounds, blood clots, skin breakdown.
Atherosclerosis is where plaque forms in the walls of the arteries. It eventually gets thicker and thicker and narrows the lumen of blood vessels. It can eventually block the vessel off and that can cause a heart attack.
