How can education (school, media etc.) help to prevent heart disease?`?

And do you think it's successful?

Educating people on things they can change for a longer life, like prevention of heart disease is good. You might know a lot about it, and do well for your self, but there are millions of peoples lives who could be made longer, better, and more joyful. I do think it is successful. There are many things that have been improved because people are taught. Think if you didn't know smoking could cause heart disease, you might keep smoking, and die 20 years earlier then expected. Not only is that bad for you, but think of the people in your life that will miss you, need you, and be effected in their lives by you. Education is just a tool to help others to do, or not do for a better life and world..

God bless

Education promoting a healthy lifestyle could go a long way in the early years to maintaining health in later years.

Educating people on exercise, smoking cessation, and low cholesterol/saturated fat diets can help prevent heart disease only if people are willing to change.

If someone told you that if you did something that it could kill you, you might change your behaviour. Thats the basics of it.
