| How come the people at my school that get first in Religious Education are atheists?
I always find that kind of ironic. Even I got first in Religious Education once and you couldn't meet a more certain atheist (Don't ask why I go to a catholic school though, it's a long story).
And in our last R.E. test the majority of people that failed were actually Catholic and the people that got 100% were atheists.
Your thoughts? How can people fail tests about their own religion? They go around preaching about it enough and then in reality it seems the atheists know more about Christianity than Christians.
Is it that atheists make informed decisions about things and learn about something before they decide wether they believe it or not and Christians just have blind faith? I can't see any other explanation.
Anyone had any similar experiences?
I know heaps of Atheists that have read the bible including me. I like to make informed decisions about things before I choose to judge them.
And yes I found the bible to be a book of fairy tales. Or zombie tales in terms of the New Testament.
