| Would you spend $10k on education knowing it won't make much more $ but will
get you into a desirable field? I am contemplating taking a medical assisting course, which will cost me about $10,000 because education is expensive in NH. I know it won't allow me to earn a ton more $$, but I would be able to work the desired 9-5 m-f and be in healthcare like I desire. I have contemplated RN degree but it takes forever and is hard to get into, and I am not that disciplined, or super book smart. Medical Assisting will get me into healthcare and office mgmt type stuff that I'd enjoy but is it worth spending the $$ when I already have $25k in student loans in repayment, knowing that I won't make too much more than I do now?
My local community college is about $9-$10k as well. I have a couple courses already taken through my previous degree, but it is $175/credit this year, plus fees.. Tuition in this state is high!
