| Mileage write-off for teacher continuing education? My wife took masters courses this summer. It was a 68 mile round trip twice a week for 7 weeks. Can I write this off. As a probationary teacher in Michigan, you have to attain 18 credits to achieve your professional certificate. Since she has to continue her education due to her job, can I write this mileage off using the 48.5 cents per mile?      |
