Schools that have good Music Education Programs?

Michigan State University is well respected with their music ed. program. They have a very successful doctoral program that has garnered internation acclaim.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor has one of the top rated music programs in the school. They are amongst the best graduates job placement and have been a prestigious music program for some 50 years.

Indiana University also has a great music program. They are known for performance and history more than anything but they do have an excellent education department.

Bowling Green University in Ohio has an excellent music ed program for a small and lesser known school of music. They have recently had some graduates win major teaching jobs internationally.

If you can get into Indiana University, definitely go there.

Also some schools not listed in any of your states mentioned are: Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida State

Preferably in Ohio, Michigan, or Indiana. Around that area.
