I'm canadian and want to be a pedicatrician. Can you supply be with some deatials...

...on the job and education? How many years of post seconday education is needed? I know theres unviersity and med school but what courses program do you take in university? How many hours do they work a day? Whats the wage?? What are some of their duties? I live in canada so the answers migyht be different then in the usa.

You can start off by learning how to spell pediatrician...then enroll in a good college with a good pre-med program. Your going to be in school for a long time by the way. Id say six years...

You need a 4 year undergrad degree in a related field - I would choose biology, chemistry, neuroscience, or psychology. Technically any major is fine, but those are the ones they like best.

You do a 4 year medical degree, and then I think it is 3 more years for pediatrics or any other specialty. To be admitted to Med School, you need fabulous marks and a lot of volunteer work, etc. Toward the end of your med degree, you get "matched" to your specialty. I think ped's is pretty competitive. A lot of people don't get their first choice.
