Are you passionate about the need for biofuels so have become a chemical engineer? Want everyone to have excellent healthcare so become a doctor? Think we need better education so you become a teacher? Etc.

Is becoming part of the solution unrealistic?
No, Boss, because the chemical engineers are the ones who actually figure out how the engines work with the biofuels.

Wouldn't it be wiser to become a fermentation microbiologist if you are passionate about biofuels, since they are the ones that actually make them, and study utlizing livining organisms to produce them?

BTW the answer to every problem isn't as easy as you suggest, nor is it very logical to think the problems should be ignored because you aren't working in the field.

hmmmm none of the chemical engineers i have known ever work on mechanical aspects of science.
They engineer chemicals from other chemicals. While studying the way the chemicals will behave.
Are you sure you know what a chemical engineer does?

Well I think the more you educate yourself in your political beliefs you're helping your cause. But subjectively, if you're studying economics because you want to help people understand Austrian theory and the free-market system, then you're helping the people out who still believe the Federal Reserve is good for us.
