| how much luggage can one carry from india to us on a visa for education abroad?? also i mainly wana know- how much luggage can i carry handy,can i carry a huge bag at hand(bag full o clothes n shoesat hand) while boradin the flight??      |

| You're limited to whatever your airline allows, just because you're going to be studying in the US doesn't entitle you to any more luggage or weight than anybody else. You can't carry a huge bag on board, not only is it not allowed, there's no place to store it on the plane. You should check with your airline to see what their maximum allowances are, otherwise be prepared to pay excess baggage fees or you might want to consider shipping your belongings through a freight company.
