higher education & scientific clash against creation?

i guess this relates more to the western society - in a higher education like university & more specifically, a scientific type of subject, evolution is taught as fact. How would a student go when trying to answer exam questions, & required to answer those questions in such a way as to match teachings of evolution that are known to be old and 'shaky at best' theories but still taught as fact.

for part two of this question, How do creationist believing scientists go then, both in study (achieving high grades so as to pass the subject) and in practice out in the real world?
question is regarding macro evolution, not micro.

That's easy. You ignore your personal beliefs and regurgitate whatever information they teach you. You don't have to believe it to get the answer right. You just have to tell them what they want to hear.
