Wouldn't it make sense for the U.S. Dept. of Education to institute a...

...nationwide curriculum? It seems like using one curriculum for all U.S. students would ensure uniformity of subject matter and would increase our nation's educational standards. Then students moving from one state to another would not have to repeat grades because of a disparity in curriculum, students would be entering college on a level playing field, etc. Your thoughts?
