1) Can u pls. suggest a couple of gud bks fr BITSAT-2008.
2) r u aware of ny BITSAT coachin' classes, providin short-term courses in hyderabad, which begin after 1st April ?

3) cud u pls. rank the following :

4) between Computer Science nd Electronics & Communication, which wud b the better choice ?

cant tell you much about bitsat2008, i would rank the colleges as follows.....
NIT Surathkal
NIT Trichy
IIIT Hyderabad
Bits Pillani
Bits goa
VJTI, Bombay
College of Engg, Pune
PEC Chandigarh
NIT Warangal
Anna University, Guindy
NIT Allahabad
but please remember its my choice its really important what suits you. obviously the best things are the IIT's try getting there first.

as far as choosing between the branches i would put some questions and you analyze yourself, please remember that both the industries have huge carrer opportunities...
1. you have any specific interest?
2. you have some family background of any of the branch(remember it helps)?
3. you can go to computer from electronics (not in all Genres of computer) but you cant go to electronics from computer(in any genre )
please remember you need good logic and a lot of algebra in both the branches. and also remember dont choose computer cause you like to play games comp. engg. is completely different and electronics is not all about gadget building tv's and video games like stuff.
