What is going wrong with sex education in the USA??

I just read a report that says 20% of white teenage girls and 40% of black teenage girls in America are already carrying the sexually transmitted wart virus (which can be a precursor to cervical carcinoma). I know the moral crusaders prefer to preach abstinence and President Bush pours a lot of money into this programme but can't they see it is clearly NOT WORKING!!

although i m 100% christian, i think that teenagers should be warned and correctly informed of the dangers of having unprotected relations. being uninformed will lead them to careless sexual behavior, and thats exactly what we DONT want.

i believe its a mistake to think that if we deny or ignore sexual issues "things will go just fine".

adult have the responsabilities to guide and inform the youth.

and as to bush' s doings, please dont ask me to give a personal opinion!!

Look at teen "role models" on tv! Yes, parents are lacking in educating their children too. You can't blame the government for that at all. It starts at home and with girls keeping their legs closed.
