| Which is better for becoming a teacher, a masters in your subject, or a...
...masters in education? Once I am finished with my credential program (single subject art) I plan on going to grad school. Which would better prepare me to be a high school art teacher, a MFA or a M.Ed? As far as job outlook (which wouldn't be too hot for an art teachers anyways) which would look better? Also, I am in California if that makes a difference. Although it would be possible to get a job without a masters, I would feel more secure with the degree. My subject is not in high demand and I want to do everything I can to help my chances at getting a job. I could also definitely use the increase in the payscale. |
