Why does California have money to completely rebuild freeway on-ramps but education

is being cut? We have been hearing for weeks now about cuts to education that are necessary now to avoid disaster later, but yet on my way to work every day, I pass two major freeway reconstruction sights. Why is it more important to pay for freeways than education? And does anybody remember when the terminator ran for governor and promised he would not cut education? Many of the schools that are losing funding now are the schools that really need it, not the ones that qualify for all the low income bracket perks, but the working class areas that slip through the cracks, kind of like the middle class Americans
