LBgirl has a spectacular aura about
Arnold S. (Governor of CA) is withdrawing 4.5 billion from Education?

In the beginning of his term, he withdrew 6 billion. 20 million teachers received dismissal slips in the mail. The superintendents say their hands are tied due to the governor's budget cuts. Do you feel one of the reasons is the immigration problem? Immigrant children are flooding our schools and resources are being depleted. I do not mean to sound racist. Just trying to figure how it came to this. Does anyone know?
Correction: 20,000 (Thousand) not million!

20 million teachers?

I don't think there's 20 million teachers in America, much less Cali alone.

I would say you are correct, but need one addition... The illegal alien invasion is straining more than the education system in your state.... legal immigrants and citizens are now starting to see and will soon feel much more impact to come!

Yes I agree with you, but your numbers are very inflated. There are, at my last recollection, about 34million people in the state. I'm pretty sure half of them aren't unemployed teachers.

I agree with your premise, but if you want to advance your point of view, you have to get the #'s straight, or no one will pay any attention to the facts you have that are correct.

California is bankrupt in large part thanks to the huge number of illegal aliens. The money has to come from somewhere. I hope the teacher's union remembers this the next time they encourage a "si se puede" demonstration.
