How is sex education being taught to kids now?

Looking around at some of the questions on here I notice alot of people are asking the same questions. It looks like young girls and guys don't seem to understand the whole concept of conception. Are schools only pushing the whole abstinence issue and nothing else now? Or are they still telling kids about protection?
Ok what i'm actually talking about is all of the can I get pregnant from as they word it precum or can I get my gf pregnant if she's on top questions. Do we skip this part of the lessons now?

we all learned this stuff in school. i have only been out of highschool 3 years. so i know they teach and test on these things,. but as the other person said noone cares. if the parents talked to their kids rather than focusing so much on their workplace and other things , the kid could feel free to talk to their parents. but with parents struggling to pay bills these days the kids seem to run free and do as they like. i see the average age for kids sleeping around is like 11-14. most have atleast participated in oral sex or some form besides intercourse but will have by age 16. i waited till i married. i am now 21. and so glad i did, who wants to be that girl that everyone knows is easy and has slept around? but with religion and media going down the drain here in the usa. it is just a normal thing to switch from partner to partner unprotected and not worried about consequences.

Simple its not.
All teenagers know about conception.

They just don't use them.
