Quality of education is respected in America based on what schools you go to. If you went to Harvard or Princeton everyone recognizes them. Quantity of education means how far you went. So if you got a Bachelors from Harvard or a PhD from Texas state you are comparing quality with quantity. Teachers give different quality and quantity of teaching from their ability but the student is only marked as having taken an individual class and gotten a certain grade. Can't speak for Africa as I don't know much about their education system. Sorry. |
