Rubeus Hagrid has a spectacular aura about
History of a social rule?

I would like to know how to trace the routes of social rules.
This particullar social rule is a rule that applies to western and some far eastern societies, but not eastern european, russian societies.

The concept that it is rude to ask for something that someone has when they are a guest.
For instance, me asking you to make me a coffee when I am around your house.

I believe that the routes are in Iranian-North-Arabia regions.

Can you help?
