Jewish YA'ers: recommend any general Ancient Hebrew History from a secular

perspective on the web? I dont mean "critical of Jewish belief" ...but just unbiased... neither anti-theist nor religious.

I'd say a good place to start is with "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Jewish History". As with most of the "Idiot's Guide" series, it's basic, informative, and not terribly deep, but it will give you an overview in a fairly painless manner. "Judaism for Dummies" is also pretty good, although I personally prefer the former.

From there, I'd probably go with something like "A History of the Jews" by Paul Johnson.
