Are citizens soldiers?

ts funny when I described the us forces from a different perspective, four out of five people said it was a cult, and to stay away from them. Shows how compartmentalized people can be when they hear the word "military", they don't really think about the things that with more detail describes the military. But don't listen to me this is just anti-propaganda propaganda. same old different story. I just know that people are manipulated into killing each other by someone with an agenda more than an environmental issue or any natural phenomenon could encourage. The only real battles are done during invasion and the only real soldiers there are the civilians protecting their property and family. not the ones fighting for a group, or a corporation, or under command following orders. Those are the guys doing invasions. The people are the soldiers and THE RIGHT TO OWN GUNS IS BEING INFRINGED APON IN THE UNITED STATES. RESEARCH YOUR GOVERNMENTS HISTORY AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING TODAY.Fear mongering for gun control. using these school and mall masacres as an excuse. Well imagine if one or two of those thirty people were ARMED they could have fought back. when you take guns from everyone that gives MORE control and power to someone with bad intent who actually has the initiative to get a gun and use it. if you didn't supress guns for innocent people there might not be that problem. Trying to control people is not the answer. After all the studies on human interactions people need to understand that main media uses that knowledge to manipulate opinions, not to teach people to formulate their own truth from many sources. and It is so obvious when all the attacks against posts like these ARE THE SAME, REPEATED, re-worded and repeated again. it has become a replacement for common sense especially here on yahoo answers its almost like they have paid people to write stuff to magnify terrorism and support militarization of police and law enforcement

So you think gun control is excessive in this country. Most people would differ, taking into consideration all the massacres we have suffered lately (Virginia Tech, Omaha Mall, etc.) I think gun control need to be enforced more strictly and better yet, help our national guard and military forces grow to achieve national security. If you really think this is the 1800's and we would have to go outside with machetes and sticks to fight you have a pretty outdated concept of national security. You can always get a gun license if that gives you peace of mind. Now you better be a good parent and raise mentally healthy children because that gun will most probably be an offense tool instead of a defense one...
