What would you recommend? What major, as an undergraduate, would you personally recommend for getting into Law school/Prelaw. Ive heard of English and History but are there any others or do you agree with those two?

What would you recommend? Check out:http://www.danpinello.com/LawSch.htmMy order is math, philosophy, English lit (supposedly the most common) then politial science. IMHO nothing teachers you to think better than math.ThanksBill

What would you recommend? What I think is not what counts, it is what University you plan to attend thinks is sufficient for their program. I suggest that you contact the school you plan to attend and ask them, in that way, you do not end up taking courses that will not be accepted into the University you wish to finish your education with. If I were you I would try to pick at least 10 different schools in that you have a better idea of what various schools require and think are 'assets' to have. Also I would try to find out what their requirements are to be for the years you feel you will be attending...

What would you recommend? English, History, Government, Political Science, Criminology, Business could all be good choices. It might also depend upon which field of law you intend to practice. If you want tax law, then maybe Economic or Business, for entertainment or sports, then maybe Business or Journalism or Communications. Just take a look at available majors and see which ones match up best against your interests. Undergraduate study is often just to teach you how to learn, study and write.

What would you recommend? It really does not matter, as almost every degree will help with law school in some way. English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Business, Economics all are fine bases. I had accountants, teachers, and even a Latin major in my law school class. What kind of law do you want to practice? If you know that, maybe your undergrad should be in that field. Perhaps CrimJustice if you want to do criminal work, or social work if you want to do family law or juveniles. If you like government work, perhaps public administration or urban planning. If you want to do medical malpractice, maybe even then biology/premed would work as well.Probably the most normal, and therefore most boring, would be Political Science. I was PoliSci/PreLaw, and about 75% of the PoliSci students at my university were PreLaw.Read One L, by Scott Turow. It's the story of his first year of law school, before he started writing bestsellers of legal stories.
