You seem really worry about Pre-IB. First, don't stress out. Since you're a freshman, the program might be a bit hard to handle at first because you went from barely any school work to having to read college level text and tons of exams every week or month. So, breath. Things will get better. Hate to tell you but history will get harder. Right now you're just learning the basic and you'll get to learn how to write DBQs and FRQs, but the more that you do, the better you'll get at it. Having and 88 isn't bad, you can pull that up to an A. If you are making a C in everyone of the pre-IB classes, then you're going to make it in the real IB program. Sure there's more work load, but it'll prepare you for the real world, and save you some college classes later in life. 10th grade was the hardest year because you're transitioning into the real program, but just take things slow. Do your homework like you're suppose to, and make a schedule so that way you won't end up doing 2 essays in one night and study for 3 test the following day (I did that, totallly did not get any sleep for 2 days, so bad). But I end up having all As and pass all my exams with a 4 or better. Its overwhelming, but keep it up, IB is not hard at all.
