Axelsh has a spectacular aura about
Question on Cuban history?

How many people out there really know Cuban history?
And how many of you enjoy visiting it and stuff?
Why are there so many people who remain ignorant about the history of a nation 90 miles away from our shores?
I just know that I am going to get some nasty answers as experience has showed, but I really want to see this. I also want to see some real, respectable answers.
Why do people remain ignorant to what is going on over there, like how Cuba has this "advanced" health care? Or how it has little to no crime?
I agree that the people there are nice, and that they are smart. My family is Cuban. But the truth is, how many people know that every family is given a ration card per month, what was it, I think it was... one can of beans? One pound of meat? one gallon of milk per month?
Who here knows that there is barely any medicine for their "free" health care, or that you have to take your own bed sheets when you go to the hospitals? How many people think before they speak?
and I am not just another "angry" Cuban. By nature I don't even care that much what other people think. I am doing this out of curiosity and because I am tired of reading about all these stupid things everywhere. Thats why i'm going the simple route and simply asking on yahoo answers.
