1. The Answer is A because there was 3 candidates that had no clear majority John Adams , Henry Clay and Andrew Jackson. Even though Jackson had the most votes the law during that time said that if there was no majority the decision would go to the House of Representatives. 2.B tariff import goods 3.C the tariffs favored the north because the north was industrial so the tariffs would protect their products against foreign products 4. B the tariff in the south was dislike because they exported goods like cotton 5. D the Democrats is the oldest party which traces back to Jefferson.
