Need ideas for an upcoming history project. (museum exhibit)?

My high school has a very unique history project going. Basically, we are going to have a one-night museum focusing on Africa. Each class period has to make one exhibit. we each get a space 12 feet long and about 8 feet deep. There is a very high ceiling, so its hard to hang things, but it would be nice to have some sort of enclosing, maybe. Our subject is food, and ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
BTW, were looking for more decoration and setup suggestions than actual "informational" things
