| Christmas Islands Nuclear Tests?
The current Government has seen fit to compensate the survivors of the Nuclear Tests carried out on Christmas Island over 50 years ago. Am I cynical, or is the delay, by several Governments, to this matter due to the mortality of a goodly number, so that the current numbers will absorb less of the compensation? To GotzV Your insesitivity apalls me. I knew a man who was there and his life was so distressing, due to the blatant disregard for human life. The pittance he received whilst a cripple unable to move would have made you, yes even you, cringe.      |
