That's awesome. I have set up thousands of weddings and have never seen a scary wedding. I'm sure it's been done before, but I haven't seen it myself. Do it! I love it.Here's some ideas:Have your flower centerpieces done in pumpkins. Pumpkins are a hearty vegetable and can hold up well even in heat for a limited amount of time, if needed.Use a hearse instead of a limo (although it's kind of morbid) it would go with your motif. Use black lighting and ask your guests to come as a themed monsters i.e. Vampire, Witch, The Munsters, cousin it, Wednesday, etc. Rent out a castle for your wedding and reception. There are some available that cater to weddings. Google: http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=...And best of all host a night time wedding and plan it so that it's on a full moon. I can see it now, so cool. Great Idea! There are just so many possibilities with that theme.

Never been to a wedding like that before I think it would be fun. Your question reminded me of this dresshttp://www.newport-news.com/shop/product_single.aspx?tool=t1&f=b&Ntt=black+lace+dre ss&N=0&Nty=1&D=black+lace+dress&style_id=28867137& No=0&Ntk=descSearchMaybe not what you had in mind though.I really love the look of thishttp://www.whitelacewedding.com/50226711/hwtm_halloween_update.jpgThere's so much you could do with it. I'd remind people to keep the costumes child friendly though. Not too scary. Not too sexual. If you allow them to dress up I should say.

I've attended a few Goth weddings in S.F., and they were kind of cool. But instead of a full-on Halloween theme for the decor(pumpkin bowls in particular), you might want to try vintage candlesticks and draped fabrics, maybe gingerbread for the wedding cake(be careful, gingerbread intensifies the effects of alcohol) and crystal bowls filled with richly colored fruit. Don't forget domino masks for the bridal party and guests!I see black wedding gowns, crinolines, and veils on eBay all of the time...

I love it. We're getting married on Halloween this year. Sort of a Halloween theme. It's a Tim Burton theme but if you're familiar with his work, you get it. Some of our ideas that may work with your wedding:- Tombstone shaped sugar cookie place cards. Works as a place card and a favor. http://www.britta.com/hw/recipes/gravestones04.jpgWe were going to wrap ours though, wouldn't want some one fingering my cookie.http://www.britta.com/hw/HWr.html#sugar- If you're doing your own catering, look for Halloween recipes http://www.britta.com/hw/HWr.htmlThere are others out there...many others.- Corpse Bride wedding cakehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v47/poptartskill/cake.jpgThere are other cool Halloween theme cakes too- We'll be removing our rings from severed fingers like in Beetlejuice- We're allowing costumes but we want our guests to keep it mostly PG. Small wedding, I know they'll respect that. There's tons of stuff you could do..Congrats & Good luck!

Yes, what a great idea! I think the wedding should be a celebration of you two and your love for one another. One cousin of mine and a medieval wedding. Ok so Grandma didn't get it, but it was a bunch of fun.AND Black wedding dresses for the bride were the fashion long before the white ones. Queen Victoria wore a white one and started that tradition.I know this guy that does those kind of wedding as even Pirate and Elvis ones! (One of my friends wants to do an Elvis wedding with him.)
