Need advice!....into each other, but don't think she's ready...keeping it casual...is it the right thing?

Hi there I'm chasing some advice...Me and this girl are keen on each other and spend time together every week say. However, she's recently been out of a 3 year relationship and wants to be with me but I felt she needs to be single for a while before we commit to anything. She is going to phuket next month with the ex because it was a preplanned holiday, but only as friends because they have both agreed it will never work again but she wants to know they are still friends to be able to move on with a clear conscience.I guess I'm being the caring and understanding guy by telling her it's cool and take the time she needs, we'll keep catching up as friends and see what happens when she comes back...I guess I'm just really apprehensive because I have been down this road before and got burnt badly...so it in round about way I'm burnt once twice shy...When I hear about her going out with her male friends it kinda makes me jealous which is silly.What do you people think?

I think you're smart to keep it casual. At least until she comes back from the trip. You need the time to make sure she wants you for you and not just cause you're there and she's used to being part of a couple.
