Also, it makes me sad to see Muslim people come here like they have something to hide or their egos are brittle and hurt fast.

I think nobody should rebuke one another. We, muslims do pay high esteem to other religions, their holy books and religious personalities like prophet Jesus so do we expect from others to respect our prophet. If some 'badbakht' (man with bad-fate) does not pay respect to our prophet, he is like spitting up in the air which returns on his face.

The R & S section has completely gone down the drain. most of the questions asked are dumb. and even if questions which are serious they get dumb answers. (the goddamn drinking thing,you know?)
it become nothing but a goddamn shouting match between the Atheists and the Christians.
id much rather hang here in this section than there in that headache inducing cesspool, where people will do nothing but degrade you even if you write reasonable equolent stuff.
they want their God bashing, let them keep their God bashing. There is no way you can make anyone accept your view if they consider you inferior and dont keep an open mind.

If you will Check the Yahoo Ideas of where the religions have been separated here... I think this is the Yahoo Idea of, "well.. close enough" if we give them a "Islam" Section we'll get a lot of greif from all the Americans (where their home is based) whom are mostly Christians, and "people that have yet to revert" (hehe) and think "Religion & Spirituality" is GOOD enough for everyone. I think we "as Muslims" feel better at home here... under the guile of Ramadan.
Why not? It is one of the 5 pillars.. what a better place "to hide" as you put it, to hang out in a palce we all can relate to as WE put it.
