Is the AntiClaus trying to trick people into celebrating a false Christmas with...

...all those colorful lights? Jesus wasn't born in December, after all... Is this the work of the AntiClaus?
UP: Thanks, but Weemaryann came up with it, so all compliments go to her.

the origin of 'santa claus' is the dutch 'SINter klaas', so you're probably right.

edit: thanks for not using an 'e'. kids these days apparently think 'the santa clause' refers to the person and not the contract.

No, but I think Scrooges are trying to trick some people into thinking that "holiday lights" ought to be banned forever because they contribute to global warming.

If it's a trick, then it worked. I have three gift cards from last Xmas that will probably never be used. Somebody somewhere is getting rich.
