I got proactive for Christmas.. I have a question?

I got proactive for Christmas and I used it for a week. Then, I got a huge pimple on my forehead. It was the size of a quarter. I stopped using it. I am thinking of starting to use it again, but is it normal to get pimples like that when using it? I have moderate acne normally, but I never had a pimple that huge. Thank You.
