Is the Ramadan section taking ISLAM abit too far.?

I'm getting a feeling that people on here taking Islam too far, beyond what it teaches.
one of the pillars is reading the Quran, and the Quran has branches which lead you to the hadiths.

Imam something, you're my reason.
@ Imam something.. OK, dont worry you dont need to read the Quran.. Good luck with that...

thats taking it abit too far dontt you think so.
@KMI why do you even bother, I know where this is heading, I suggest you back off. where did i say praying to allah is too far.
@ Tiffy I'm always pleased with you're answers.

Imam Salim Chishti has a spectacular aura about
For instance?

Peace
Ya Salaam

Edit:
The five pillars are:

1. Shahada - testifying that there is one God and Muhammad is His prophet
2. Salaat - 5 times required prayer
3. Saum - Fasting during the month of Ramadan
4. Zakat - Payment of charity tax
5. Hajj - Pilgrimage to Mecca.

Where in those five pillars is what you said about reading Qur'an? Admittedly it is a recommended and rewarded activity but it is nowhere in the five pillars.

If you thik I go "beyond what it (Islam) teaches" please tell me how so I can improve.
