| The Last Supper - "Do this in remembrance of me" - once a year, like the Passover?
Luke 22: 19, when Jesus handed the wine cup to his followers and asked them to "do this in remembrance of me" - did Jesus mean for them to remember his death once a year? Or is there good reason to drink from the cup and eat the bread more frequently? I don't give thumbs' down - and I would be grateful if people did not pick on our Catholic friends. This is not a question about what they bread and wine are. Oh, and it's not preaching either. It's a QUESTION, in case there is any doubt. And if anyone is sensitive about preaching, I highly recommend they go visit another Yahoo! site. This is about religion and spirituality, after all. |
