Christian the Atheist has a spectacular aura about
Some, including the Quakers, have historically used non-pagan names for the days of the week and the months of the year - First Day, Second Day, First Month, Second Month, instead of honoring Janus or Mars.

LOL, sorry but I find it hilarious that when christians get pissed off they end their tirade by threatening that they'll pray for you. LOL.
Noooo! Not the christian prayers, lol.

Additional Edit:
Most christians really don't care. You could tell them that most of their holidays are either pagan (christmas, easter, holloween, etc.), or Jewish ripoffs (sabbath) and it doesn't bother them to feel any differently about them, I guess their answer is that it keeps the kids busy.

Well personally those who do not take part in those holidays i feel are over reacting. I know many christians who celebrate all of those holidays..including my church. Mostly for the children. I believe its important for a child's imagination to go a long with it. As long as you are still teaching what the holiday really stands for. As a child at christmas my family would celebrate christmas like normal but then we would allways have a birthday cake for Jesus. Its kinda funny but it helps remind a child what its really all about.

As for the days of the week. I doubt those have any significance what so ever.. even if they are names of Roman Gods or whatever, its not a practice as where these "pagan holidays" are, and would be seen as taking away from the true meaning.
