| My grandmother-in-law makes us knitted garments EVERY year for Christmas (& other
occasions), and they are...? ... absolutely hideous! We are very polite and thank her profusely, but i cannot bring myself to wear these items. i'm talking doodoo brown mishapen sweaters with bile-yellow cuffs... things like that. i wouldn't be so worried about it, but she asks us all the time why we aren't wearing the things... what do i do? it is especially hard with my children, because i don't want to teach them to lie to her, but i also will not force them to wear aqua and red striped knitted vests, either. any advice? |
