Was Jesus's Last Supper meal his Jewish Passover meal?

I'm just curious because I was reading about the bread and wine and blessings and all that, and it sounds like how Jews celebrate a seder or even a regular sabbath meal... And the fact that date-wise his Last Supper is on the Jewish day of Passover is interesting to note!

"Thus, John places Christ's death at the time of the slaughter of the Passover lamb, which would put the Last Supper slightly before Passover, on 14 Nisan of the Bible's Hebrew calendar.[3]"
from wikipedia.
Passover occurs on Nisan 14 for the Jews - once a year - and I found it interesting that Jesus's Last Supper coincidentally falls on Nisan 14 also, hence the question.
There were no catholics/advents/christians while Jesus was alive - so Jesus was basically practicing his Judaism and later Chrstians Christianized it? I'm just trying to udnerstand, because I was shocked to read today that the Last Super was on Nisan 14...poor guy doesn't know he is not viewed as Jewish when he obviously practiced judaism...maybe I'm wrong?

Yes! It was. You'll notice that the day before Good Friday is always Jewish passover. That's not a coincidence! Many churches celebrate this day as the feast of the Lord's supper or Holy Thursday"

Good Friday - March 21
Passover - Saturday April 19
Jews slaughtered the lamb for their Passover holiday on Nisan 14 and the Christian bible says the Last Super was on the day of Passover when (the jews) slaughter lamb. Why the same day? I don't get it!
The Passover meal on Nisan 14 also includes hard boiled eggs and I just realized the association with Christians using eggs on Easter and the eggs used by Jews on Passover - another item to relate his Last Supper as having been a JEWISH PASSOVER meal.
Mz Rahi I was quoting "kate" about passover being a day before good friday, then listed that Godd Friday is March 21 and Passover is April 19.
Mama Paj, when you say: "Jesus has nothing to do with the Passover lamb" I will correct you in that the whole point of my question, was to investigate how the Last Supper meal ties in with Passover, and the Christian bible says it took place on the day the lamb was sacrified, which means it was on the Jewish day of Passover since Jews at that time were required to sacrified a lamb at the temple for Passover, so my point is he could've had the Jewish Passover meal as his Last Supper since it falls on the same day.
Also, if the Supper was had before sundown, then it is possible that a Jew could still have eaten bread.
