Parents: Was Easter like a mini Christmas at your house?

If you have young ones, did you give them gifts like new clothes, shoes, DVD's, little games, etc from the "Easter Bunny"?

We had a very low key Easter this year, with 6 kids we had 3 that were sick. Because of this we didn't do the egg hunt until about noon, and we didn't go visit relatives as we usually would.

When I do an egg hunt I get the larger plastic eggs and put new socks in each egg-they get to find the eggs and get new socks!

Everyone had some chocolate in their baskets and a gift,

My 14 year old twin girls each got $5 iTunes card.
My 9 year old and 7 year old sons each got a lego set.
My 4 year old daughter got a Barbie.
My 2 year old daughter got a stuffed animal rabbit.

Only easter eggs and pj's but i was in hospital with suspected labour on good friday and bank holiday monday so not really fun for my children but their nan and grandad made it fun for them.
