I have a Christmas Movie on computer.........?

I want to forward this movie to others via e-mail, but tells me it's too long! How do you downsize a movie? Does this make sence? It's not really that long, I just don't understand what this means

I really don't know but I know with photos one needs to be sure they are in JPEG format. If there is anything on your computer that will let you change the movie to that format then you should do so. Otherwise, it probably depends on the memory on the other person's computer...some have enough room for it and some don't. Good luck.

Most ISPs impose a limit on the size of an attachment. My limit is 20MB.

The quickest way to dry to compress your file is to try winzip (www.winzip.com). If you don't get much compression from that you'll need a utility that will convert the video to a lower quality (so that it doesn't take up as much disk space). I use professional editing software (Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere) to do it. You should be able to find freeware or shareware utilities at download.com to do it as well.

If all else fails, burn them to CD or DVD and mail them. That's what I usually do.
