What organizations can I get involved with that promote home schooling?

I'm really disgusted that the government wants to take away our rights to home school our kids. At the very least they are trying to make it harder for a parent to "qualify" to home school their kids. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the many good teachers out there. But if my kids are passing tests and doing well, then it's none of the governments damn business if I don't have some certification or degree. The point is, is my kid learning or not?! And if he is...then why mess with a good thing?? I am so passionate about this and I want to do something about it. How do you go about fighting for a cause? What are some causes you are passionate about? What have you accomplished? How did you get started? I'm sick of complaining about things I don't like. I want to do something constructive about it. And even if I don't succeed, at least I'll have the peace of mind to know that I tried. Please share your thoughts on this. THANK YOU!!!
