Csue7782 has a spectacular aura about
My granddaughter is only 7 and mother too lazy to get her ready for school so

keeps her home.? My granddaughter just turned 7 yrs and has
missed more school than has been there..it is
sad, they are going to hold her back and it is
NOT her fault. All her mother has to do is get
her dressed and i pick her up, feed her and
bring her to school..but she is too 'hung-over'
to do that. My granddaughter is so sad, thinks she is stupid. She has fallen between
the School System Cracks. Is it wrong of me
to report this to the School Truant or someone? I just cannot keep watching this..
there is also a 4 yr old sibling..what, same
thing? I feel as tho I am commiting a crime
if i don't do something to make sure these
innocent children get an education they are
entitled to, I truly believe this needs to be a
crime..Thanks in Advance so much, Csue.

Yeah, that mother could definitely get in trouble for what she is doing. You should talk to an authority at the school. And talk to the mother-tell her how serious this is, and that if the authorities find out, her children could get taken away from her. Also tell her that she is scarring her child for life. Good luck

It is illegal for a child not to go to school. They will be reported to the authorities soon anyway.

I would report it but maybe give her a chance by threatening her to get her act together and to tell her that she has to start taking the children to school or you'll call the authorities, she may get her act together after that. Offer to help her, maybe by dropping off the children to school if you can. If she doesn't listen to you, I would definitely report this but keep in mind that you can sever ties with your family this way.

You should definitly report her. She needs help and if someone does not step in it will only get worse for the kids. They are innocent and do not deserve to live like that. She needs help so she can become a good mother. Without help, it will only get worse.
