How do I know which school does my home come under ?

I'm planning to buy a house and I would like to check what the schools are for that particular house. As per my real estate agent, the mailing address of the house is one town (Boonton, NJ) but the schools are from another town Parsippany, nj for that community. Is that possible ?

Is there a way to check the schools myself with the NJ Board of Education based on the mailing address of the house ?

Yes, you can inquire to see which district the property is in for purposes of schools. However, be aware that school district boundaries are not fixed in stone, and may change in the future.
