Any home-schooled children outn there?

Hi, i am suppose to interview children ages 5-17 that have been, or are being home schooled but I don't know any or know anyone that knows any. Can any1 tell me whta that experience is like? Do thye or you miss having more friends? If moved to public how do the 2 compare?
