we dont go to any homeschool get togethers i go church but thats only 2 times a week. maybe a penpal?

Texas is a big place. I’m not sure if you are urban or in the sticks. You could live on the coast or in the thick of cattle country. But there are better options than a pen pal. Begin with what you already have. Use the church as a way to meet people. Have a mixer with other youth groups. Have a joint bake sale or car wash with those groups. Those are good ways to meet people. Join a hiking or biking club. Start a Frisbee golf team. Join a softball team. Volunteer at a local theater as an usher. Get a part time job. Start a book club. Those are just some of your many options. Be creative and patient and you’ll make plenty of friends.
