What is with old Mexicans checking me out when I'm walking home from school?

First of all, I'm 13. I walk home from school everyday. Recently, there have been Mexicans working on gardening and stuff in my neighborhood. So they drive around a lot and stare at me. I wear a school uniform and my skirt is just above my knees. I do not even look older than I am. I am not incredibly attractive because it's only the old creepy Mexican guys that do it. So even a few times when I walk home, there's like a group of Mexican guys in the back of a truck and then they slow down and then STOP and stare at me. I get all red because I feel really uncomfortable and it's gross. Also, it happens when I'm walking with my friend to the mall. My friend was even telling me that she has to jog around and she wears shorts and they honk at her. It's always different OLD MEXICANS. Does this ever happen to anyone else? What do I do about this? It makes me feel really uncomfortable.

Report it to your local police. If the attention you are getting from anyone, (ESPECIALLY someone more than 10 years older than you), makes you uncomfortable, it is a form of sexual harassment. At the very least, the police or your local Womens' Resource Center should be able to help you get a restraining order.

Yeah it does. They are around the neighborhood sometimes just to cut peoples grass and stuff. Try to find a buddy to walk home with or get a ride from someone. It isn't as hard as you think.

Try to go through a different route. And if you have a cellphone, pretend that you're talking to somebody else in a really loud tone. This almost always works for me.

One time while walking to the subway station, this one guy stopped his van RIGHT behind me and my friends. I got so freaked out because I thought they were trying to kidnap us because one of the guys opened the van door. He said something perverted and drove away. They're just being stupid and disgusting.

Granted guys are all pervs. But Mexicans are sooooo much more pervish! All of them are the same like the other girl said its in their nature.

Do not yell at them or say anything at all. Ignore them completely. Saying something to them might make them mad & you might get hurt. & by that I mean rape. DO NOT DO IT!

Trust me on this I have been in like 5 car chases before & some of them have told me to get into the car or else. Why? Because I talked to them. I haven't had any problems anymore because I'm always with someone & am not allowed going around the block even on my bike without someone there with me.

Make sure your cellphone is charged at all times & on. Tell your parents. Get a ride from school if you can. & if you can't then next time if this happens you should call the police immediately & memorize their license number. I don't want anyone going through what I had to go through so just please listen to me on this kay?

Why does everyone assume that every single Latino is Mexican? Lol.

It's not a big deal. Latinos are are not afraid to comment on whether you have good legs or not, nice lips, a good-looking face, etc. I understand you being uncomfortable since you're 13 and they are old, but it's a culture thing, and most of them do not mean any harm. Guaranteed loads of old white men have the same thoughts, they just do not say them out loud. Latinos have what I call no vergüenza (no shame), haha.

Whenever I go for a walk or even just walk around the mall, I get older and young Latino men staring at me, making comments. It's not always fun, but it's just in their nature, so whatever...I just deal with it. So if you lighten up and just laugh at their stupidity, you'll feel better.

If you are much too uncomfortable, try to work out getting a ride home from school.

There is really nothing you can do. They do it to me and my friends all the time, too.

You're totally right. It's creepy and gross. But you just kinda have to deal with it. However, obviously if they like make a move, tell an adult.
