| What Kind Of Children Usually Go For Home-Schooling? I don't know much about it. I only know a couple of people in my circle who are home-schooled. One is born into a Mormon family and are very religious and the other one the poor child suffers from social anxiety disorder. What I wanted to ask was is that is home-schooling meant for children who are not "normal" or not mainstreamed. Do they suffer from some sort of mental illness, social phobias, overly protective parents? what? Sorry if I come across as offensive but I just want to know more about it. |

| Homeschooled kids are not wasted, in fact they live up to their potential more readily than many of their schooled peers. A child who knows how to learn on his/her own and can reach their own goals will go far in life. Kids who have to be told what to do and have their movements controlled from early childhood have a far harder time making good decisions.
