Parents how do you feel when the school sends things home and then asks you to pay??

My childs school sent home more school pictures and then told the class all the kids are staying after for detenstion if they don not return them with payment! This is teh second set of portraits for the year. So basically, they take pics AGAIN, send them home , if you done want them, you have to retuen the pics of your own children to them or detention??


That does not sound right to me, what do you think? I might keep them, and not pay..I already paid for the first set...It was THERE choice to take the photos, but when they threaten kids with detention, that really bothers me..

thanks so much. They needed the pictures returned within 2 days. They are $54.00 for 4 sheets...

They need to be in today, so what should I do?? And will the school really give kids detention? Thanks so much
Update: so far 2 kids got detention during there lunch break yesterday. I called the school this morning and Im sure there parents have no idea. The school said they will get back to me about it. Thanks for all your help, I truly apprecaite it.
