My Airport on my new MacBook Pro connects perfect at home but doesn't at school.?

Just got my MBP this last week. Running OS X 10.5.2 Yeah. love it. except......
Ok. At home i have a linksys 802.11g router and my mbp wireless can connect perfect, full bars. No problems what so ever...
At school my airport has three bars (that's all i get around school). The first day at school, my internet was perfect (except for the school's filter, haha). now this whole last week my airport says i have three bars, but it will not load web pages. I can get the pages to load if i renew the lease of the DHCP in my network preferences. if i click this button, the pages will load but, i will not be able to acess the next page a few seconds later. Every once in a while i can keep surfing for a minute to a min. and a half before it will quit. my finder can still recognize all the computers on the network, so it's obviously connected to the network, but it wont let me load any internet (iChat, Safari, mail)
PLEASE HELP ME! IM GETTING FRUSTRATED! I LOVE MY MAC BUT THIS IS RETARDED!
