i walk home from school everyday but...?

my boyfriend always walks me home.
it's like a 20 minute walk, and his house is like 30 minutes away from mine.
we dont really get to see each other that much during school so it's a great way for us to be together for 20 minutes.
it's really really sweet, but sometimes i like using that alone time to think and gather my thoughts.
i don't want to offend him, but how do i tell him that i just want to walk by myself sometimes?
